About Laura
I am a jewelry designer and teacher with a passion for transforming nature's intricate details into luxury heirloom pieces. I graduated from Western Michigan University with degrees in Art Education and Metals/Jewelry. I love opening peoples eyes to the world of metalsmithing, seeing the confidence build as skills are learned. Getting to be a part of that process is truly an amazing experience.
My work has been featured in 500 Earrings, 500 Wedding Rings, and I have been nominated as teacher of the year while teaching in Elmbrook, Wisconsin and the Red Hot Best while teaching in Traverse City, MI.
Not only do I love teaching and designing, I am a mom of three beautiful girls. They have been the center of my universe since 2012, when my first was born. I love that they get to see me moving towards my passion and step back into the roles I was meant to be, a mom, a teacher, a designer and an entrepreneur.
