Discover the ancient art of silversmithing and learn how to create your own custom bezel set ring! In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the foundational technique of bezel setting—the process of wrapping and securing a smooth, polished cabochon stone in a custom silver frame.
Designed for complete beginners or experienced makers, this intensive class will guide you through every step of the jewelry-making process. You will learn how to safely use a jeweler's torch to solder metal, shape and texture a sterling silver ring band, and properly use setting tools to lock your stone in place. No prior experience is required, and you will walk out at the end of the day wearing a beautiful, hand-crafted sterling silver ring made entirely by you!
All materials will be provided, along with your choice of stone to set. This Is an intensive class so it will be spread over two days.
